We are pleased to share that Ag Care Connect by Life Voice Canada Inc. has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Producer Mental Wellbeing Initiative, funded through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

This national initiative recognizes innovative approaches that strengthen mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and support producers across Canada through early intervention, community connection, and culturally relevant tools. We are honoured to be included among the semi-finalists advancing this important work.
Ag Care Connect brings together farm-focused tools created by and for people in agriculture, including:
- START: A 5-step supportive conversation model designed for early mental health intervention
- TapRoot: A farm-informed wellness and safety planning tool
- Peer Circles: Reducing isolation through shared experience
- Storytelling & Lived Experience: Lifting producer voices to reduce stigma
- Fallow Podcast: Launching in 2026, focused on real conversations and community resilience
Our work is grounded in the realities of farming, ranching, fishing, and land stewardship. Producers shoulder immense visible and invisible care — for land, animals, family, legacy, and community. Ag Care Connect exists to honour that labour, strengthen early conversations, and build emotional resilience across Canada’s agricultural landscape.
We extend our sincere thanks to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Impact Canada for recognizing the importance of this work.
We also acknowledge the producers, families, and ag-sector partners whose lived experience continues to shape and guide Ag Care Connect.
