Selfcare practices can improve our mental health. These resources will explore various selfcare practices and how they can help foster mental wellness. Selfcare practices don’t need to cost a lot of money. In fact, they don’t need to cost a dime. We can use nature, people, and pets (for example,) to destress and improve our mental health. Some communities may need to rely on selfcare practices more than others. Perhaps they are lacking in formal supports, or formal supports are hard to access. Well waiting to connect with formal supports we can use selfcare practices every day to rebuild our capacity and strengthen our resiliency. Selfcare practices don’t need to take a lot of time or money. Even doing something you enjoy, like going for a short walk, enjoying a herbal tea, or soaking in a bubble bath can be done in 15 minutes. As long as it’s health and refueling your tank that’s selfcare.
